Teresa Villarreal Castillo Obituary

Mrs. Teresa Villarreal Castillo, 85 was called home by her heavenly Father, Friday September 11,2020. She was at home surrounded by her loving family. A beloved Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She was born to Guadalupe Lozano Villarreal and Cecilio Barbosa Villarreal on August 2, 1935. She was proceeded in death by her Mother and Father, Henry (Genaro) A. Castillo, her husband of 26 years. Her Sister Lidia V. Flores, Nephews Alfred Salas and Kristian Espinoza. Teresa is survived by her loving Children: Son and Daughter in-law Henry and Peggy Castillo and Family, Daughter and Son in-law Gloria and Joseph Varela and Family, Daughter and Son in-law Sylvia and Billy Medina and Family And Son and Daughter in-law David and Susy Castillo and Family all of Houston. Sister-cousin Dolores Medrano of California, Sisters: Mrs. Josie Villarreal, Mrs. Barbara Salas, Mrs. Mary Herrada, Mrs. Guadalupe Espinoza, Mrs. Dolores Trevino all of Houston. 14 Grandchildren, and 14 Great Grandchildren, numerous Nieces and Nephews. Teresa was a wonderful, quiet, strong woman who loved to travel, loved her church and her God. She loved her Sisters and Families, her Children, Grandchildren and her Greatgrandchildren, She spent time with all of them in her life time. She survived her husband’s death only to go to work and retire from The Parks and Recreations . She loved to go for her walks. She also loved to travel around Houston and surrounding areas seeing the shrines set up in honor of The Virgin Mary and the sightings of God’s image.

O gentlest heart of Jesus, ever present in the Blessed Sacrament, ever consumed with burning love for the poor captive sous, have mercy on the soul of Thy departed servant, Be not severe in Thy judgment but let some drops of Thy Precious Blood fall upon the devouring flames, and do Thou O Merciful Savior, and Thy Angels to conduct Thy departed servant to a place of refreshment light and peace. Amen. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in Peace. Amen Merciful Jesus grant eternal rest.
