Fidel Ocampo , 87, passed away on 07-14-2020 after a short battle with covid-19
He was born on 05/07/ 1933 to Jesus Ocampo and Gilberta Gutierrez in Tetelilla, Guerrero, Mexico
He was a farmer who worked the land to provide for his family.
Fidel also enjoyed testing his strength, It is said that he once picked up a cow that he was bringing home onto his shoulders and walked it back to the house. Why you ask? He said " Just to see if I could do it!" .
He came to America when his sons' wife passed away suddenly leaving him with 3 young children.
Fidel left his home, farm, and family in 1991 to come to the aid of his son. He and his wife Reyna Ocampo played a key role in the upbringing of his grandchildren.
He was a firm believer in his faith. He was satisfied and happy with his life. He had said many a time that if his time came soon he would be ok and ready to meet his Lord and Savior when that time came.
He knew where he was going and that gave him comfort.
Fidel Ocampo is survived by his wife Reyna Ocampo, his children Alfonso, Fanni, Jesus, Lilia, Serafin, Isidra, Felipe, Elias, 24 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
