Obituary

   1969 ~ 2020

Carlos Vega was a beautiful soul. He was my boo, my Flako, my viejito, my papa, my babe, my friend, my companion, my travel buddy, my shipmate, my protector and my husband. He was a man that acted only out of kindness. He had no ill thought of anyone And never wish harm on anyone. He was beautiful both inside and out. He appreciated and respected every life form. He would notice the unique and impressive colors of a birds feather and found it fascinating how animals, like humans, adapted to there environment. He would notice the colors of a butterfly’s wings and the pattern of a shell of a snail. He was the friendliest at his job and at his home. He believed in dominating the home but not with threats or heated discussions but with love and honey. But even though he always got his way, I still managed to have the last word of the argument. Even though they were, yes babe, or you’re right, or I’m sorry, or whatever makes you happy or just because I love you. He had a way controlling my mood swings and panic attacks as well as controlling my anger for whatever reason I decided to be upset about. His remedy was, “relax, relax”. And it worked for me. He brought me back from the dead, not once but several times all with his gentle touch and his voice whispering in my ear. He had so much love and above all else, patience. He had a thirst for knowledge. He is survived, loved and missed my his three furry children Wolverine, Storm, Jean and his grieving husband.  He is also survived by his mother Irlanda Duran, siblings Pedro Vega y Familia, Maria Victoria Vega y Familia, Guadalupe Vega y Familia, Jose Domingo y Familia, Edgar Yeudiel Vega y Familia, Silvia Vega y Familia, Aaron Vega y Familia, Esperanza Vega y Familia, Virginia Vega y Familia, Gumercindo Vega y Familia, Patricia Vega y Familia, Adrian Vega, Father-in-law Mario Gutierrez, mother-In-law Laura Gutierrez and the entire Gutierrez and Salazar family.
